Hi, I’m Monica—also known as Mona! I’m a certified Electrologist, Aesthetician, and Cosmetic Tattoo Artist, holding multiple certifications from top institutions across British Columbia. I work from a cozy family-owned boutique salon in beautiful West Vancouver, where I’ve been perfecting my craft for nearly six years.

My Electrolysis Journey

My journey into electrolysis is deeply personal. Years ago, after undergoing laser hair removal, I experienced paradoxical hypertrichosis—an unexpected and frustrating side effect where hair growth increased instead of reduced. I also struggled with persistent ingrown hairs.

Discovering electrolysis was truly life-changing. The results not only restored my confidence but inspired me to become certified so I could help others going through similar experiences. Because of this, I bring a level of empathy, care, and understanding to every treatment I perform.

My Love for Cosmetic Tattooing & Artistry

Cosmetic tattooing is where precision meets artistry, and it’s a craft I really enjoy. I specialize in creating soft, natural enhancements for brows, lips, and eyeliner—always tailored to complement each client’s unique features.

My approach focuses on achieving beautiful, long-lasting results while minimizing trauma to the skin. It’s a delicate balance that requires both technical skill and an artistic eye, and it’s something I take great pride in with every client.

My Passion for Skin Health & Results-Driven Treatments

Skincare is a true passion of mine—both professionally and personally. I struggle with rosacea, which has led me on a continuous journey to better understand and manage sensitive, reactive skin. This allows me to connect with clients experiencing similar concerns.

I’m also passionate about anti-aging and believe in aging gracefully through a balance of advanced treatments and effective at-home skincare. My approach focuses on maintaining healthy, resilient skin and achieving natural, long-term results.
