What are Nano strokes?

Nano brows is a cosmetic tattoo technique that mimics the look of hair strokes to create realistic looking eyebrows. To create nano strokes, a handheld machine and single use disposable needle is used. This is different from microblading which is done using a manual handheld tool and blade to create hair strokes. This techniques works better than microblading on those who have darker skin tones. It also causes less trauma to the skin because there is no blade involved. Suitable for all skin types especially Fitpatrick 3-6.

Who’s it for?

Nano stroke brows are perfect for those seeking natural-looking eyebrows with realistic hair strokes. While similar to Microblading, Nano strokes are particularly well-suited for individuals with darker skin tones or oily skin. Microblading involves cutting the skin to insert pigment, which can result in blurred and less defined strokes as the skin heals—especially for those with oily skin. In contrast, Nano strokes use a single needle to insert pigment without cutting the skin, making this more advanced technique less invasive. This method not only minimizes trauma to the skin but also creates crisp, natural-looking hair strokes. We recommend Nano strokes for anyone aiming for a natural brow appearance, especially those with oily or dark skin types.

What should I expect during my appointment?

Our Process: Your Perfect Brows, Step by Step…

1. Consultation: We start with a thorough consultation to discuss your desired brow style and address any concerns you may have about your current brows.

2. Mapping: Next, we move on to the precise mapping process. Here, we carefully draw and measure your brows to ensure perfect symmetry.

3. Approval: Once you’re satisfied with the pre-drawing, we proceed to the next step.

4. Tattooing: We begin by tattooing the outline of your brows. To ensure your comfort, we apply a numbing cream for about 30 minutes before starting the tattooing process.

We recommend allowing a total of 3 hours for your appointment, though we typically finish within 2 to 2.5 hours.

Touch-Up Appointment

Touch-Up Appointments: Perfecting and Maintaining Your Brows

Scheduling a touch-up appointment after your initial brow appointment is important. It’s often called the “perfecting appointment” where we assess how your brows have healed and make any necessary adjustments. Maintenance touch-ups can be done every 3-5 years to give your brows a color boost and keep them looking fresh.

Aftercare

Post-Procedure Care: Ensuring a Smooth Healing Process

Right after the procedure, and for up to two days afterward, you might notice some clear fluid forming on top of your brows. This is lymph fluid, and it’s completely normal—part of your body’s natural healing process. To keep your brows clean during this time, gently wipe them with a damp Q-tip a few times a day for the first two days.

Day 3 Onward: Start applying a thin layer of the provided ointment twice a day. This will help keep your brows moisturized as they begin to dry out, which may cause some mild itching.

Important Guidelines:

No Water Contact: Avoid getting your brows wet until they are fully healed, and the flakes have naturally fallen off. This usually takes 7-10 days. Refrain from picking at the flakes, as this could lead to colour loss.

No swimming, Sauna, or Exercise: These activities should be avoided until your brows have completely healed.

Avoid direct sunlight: Keep your brows out of direct sunlight until they are fully healed.
